We are recruiting for an excellent and fast-growing law firm in Central London who are looking for Commercial Property Paralegals to join their highly successful team. They have been operating for around 20 years, have doubled in size over the last 5, and plan to continue to expand. This growth has been primarily down to their top-tier client care, and they get a huge amount of repeat and referral business. Training and development is very important to them, and all but two of their 12 partners have been promoted from within. In fact, two of their salaried partners, and one of their equity partners, started as paralegals. They are happy to consider career paralegals, and those who wish to qualify in the future. Regarding training contracts, they do offer them, but you would have to prove yourself first as they are only provided to internal applicants. Over the last year they have given out three training contracts to their staff. Salary levels are excellent, and there is also a bonus scheme. An excellent opportunity for a switched-on Paralegal with Commercial Property experience to support the ongoing growth of 2i Recruit's client. The successful Paralegal will have a great work ethic and possess the ability to work under their own initiative, to support the in-house legal team. Paralegal Real Estate Location: Newbury My client, is a forward thinking, innovative and friendly law firm which has grown substantially in recent years. Due to a recent promotion, they are now recruiting for a Paralegal to join their busy Real Estate Team in Newbury. The candidate will offer administrative and legal task support primarily for commercial property work. Experience in a legal property environment would be beneficial. Duties will include: To attend to clients both on the telephone and in person. Prepare relevant documents, deeds and Land searches. Deal with any post completion issue which may arise on a sale Submit all registrations within priority period. Attending client and other meetings with fee earners and taking an accurate note of the meeting. Deal with all requisitions raised by Land Registry and post completions queries. Arrange submission of the Stamp Duty Land Tax return with HMRC and registration at Land Registry within search priority periods. Deal with requisitions from the Land Registry under supervision of the fee-earner. Pass files to scheduling and assist when necessary. Ensure discharges received where necessary and any undertakings are discharged. Assist with retention releases and letters to clients which are required for compliance. To draft straightforward documents when requested by the fee earner. To set up new files accurately and speedily. To make appointments, deal with new clients and assist in keeping the fee earners diaries up to date.
