Job Description

ZSL is seeking an experienced Senior Supporter Services Manager to lead our busy team. The Supporter Services team is a single point of contact for general enquiries, as well as being the portal through which other ZSL products and experiences can be sold and booked. Contact with supporters is made via several communication channels, including email, phone and online feedback.

Position: Senior Supporter Services Manager
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £35,175 to £38,013 - (Inclusive of London weighting)
Location: ZSL London Zoo, Regents Park, NW1 4RY

Role Profile

This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing the supporter services strategy in conjunction with the Head of Digital Services to maximise revenue and ensure continued support from our visitors, members, donors, and supporters.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrable leadership/people management experience - able to inspire, motivate and lead teams with clear objectives in place
  • Extensive experience managing and leading a supporter services/ customer call centre at a senior level, with proven skills in developing individuals and teams to deliver against objectives and plans
  • An aptitude for delivering excellent customer service and leading by example in this area
  • Understanding of not for profit and/or visitor attraction sectors
  • Qualifications in customer service and/or direct marketing
  • Experience in devising and implementing supporter/ customer service strategies at a senior level
