Specific Skills * Understanding of technical solutions and services in the Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying and Geospatial industries * Machine control application and best practice in a production environment * Excellent working knowledge of SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Office suites * Operational experience of Cat & Trimble machine control and surveying tools and software packages * Ability to analyse large amounts of data and information and provide solutions to operational challenges. * Excellent facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills * Excellent communicator * Financial and Commercial awareness * Self- starter with excellent time management skills * Excellent customer relationship skills and internal/external networking skills Knowledge * Solid experience of implementing digital technology and software solutions in the Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying and Geospatial industries in a customer operational environment * Preferably familiarity of technology-based services, solutions, technical consultancy & process improvement in large scale infrastructure projects * Experience in B2B customer engagement and technology roll-outs Accountability As the owner of solution & customer support in the field, the Performance Solution Application Manager / Application specialist will capture & communicate customer requirements & Insight across Sales, Operations and Development teams within Finning and technology partners such as CAT and Trimble. Education and Experience * CAT trained in FPC, Minestar and similar applications * Operational experience of Trimble Machine control and/or Survey/Geospatial technologies * 6 Sigma and Lean Practitioner * Engineering Degree, Mining Engineer or Qualified Surveyor * Management Experience * Understanding of the sales process * Drone experience with suitable pilot license (desirable)
