Role Responsibility Discover our Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship Our craft mechanics specialise in the maintenance, and occasional manufacture, of all mechanical equipment to ensure optimum and consistent performance levels. Mechanical craftspeople are highly skilled and can work in a wide variety of industries and sectors with complex plant and equipment. Qualification you will obtain On this apprenticeship you will be following the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, Level: 3 standard. Following your first year at the training school you will then join the NNL craft team and attend college on a day release basis. In your role with NNL you will be involved in work including: Manufacturing components Assembling and installing machinery Continuing maintenance of equipment Working with precision and accuracy Approaching work logically and with a thorough attention to detail Interpreting drawings and diagrams Diagnosing and fault-finding problems with machinery and equipment Co-operating with colleagues to ensure work is carried out to a high standard To welcome you into the business, your programme will start with a tailored induction. This will give you an understanding of the business, the programme you will follow and what we'll expect from you during your apprenticeship. Following your induction, you'll be supported through your apprenticeship journey focusing on personal development. This covers a range of skills from time management to team working. We'll learn about you together. We even have a dedicated apprentice advisor who is there to ensure that you are settling into your apprenticeship at NNL, both in the workplace and at college.
