O2C Global Process Owner
£120K + bonus and benefits
The business is based in Yorkshire but this particular role can be based in the North or South.
My client is a FTSE 250 listed business and they are creating a new finance shared service centre in the North West. They are undergoing a major finance transformation of its current finance TOM to shift heads out of divisional finance functions and into a group SSC. As part of this transformation they are creating and order to cash transaction services tower. This team will form part of the global organisational construct called Finance Operations which will operate centres of excellence and shared services for finance. This role has been created to lead the O2C global transaction services tower.

The O2C GPO is the primary owner of all the O2C finance processes with the overall goal to deliver services while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness. You will be responsible and accountable for the consistent design and deployment of the O2C process as well as for effective process performance.

More specifically you will be responsible for the global design and adoption establishing a clear vision for global O2C processes; defining processes, policies, procedures and systems and developing the global strategy. Compliance will play a major part of the role ensuring all O2C related policy requirements are met; ensuring integrity of data and conformance to company policies and external regulations including statutory requirements. You will also be in charge of achieving operational excellence and be accountable for the continuous improvement of the global O2C processes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in an O2C GPO role ideally from a FTSE 250 business. Strong knowledge and hands on delivery experience with O2C processes including sales orders, billing, invoicing, credit control and payments queries. Proven experience of understanding of O2C processes in SAP as well as working with a host of client billing interfaces. Previous experience in running shared service delivery teams and managing performance though SLA's and KPI's in also a must. You will be required to travel to India frequently for this role especially during the first 18 months as the business has a sizeable finance function over there so previous offshore experience will be highly advantageous.
