They are a truly awesome team who keep our colleagues and customers at the heart of all they do. We're seeking a talented Health & Safety (H&S) expert who can successfully lead and develop a small team creating a centre of excellence. Applying your wealth of knowledge, we'll ask you to develop and deliver a programme for embedding health and safety policy and standards across Virgin Money whilst keeping us safe by monitoring and reviewing compliance with the policy. We're always looking to be the best so with your continuous improvement hat on you'll review H&S standards and look to make recommendations. What's involved? Monitor and review compliance within policy and produce updates, responding to business and external changes. Meeting all external health and safety requirements by collating up to date information, translating into standards and procedures. Conduct H&S risks assessments, providing advice and assistance on actions required to control risks. Deliver colleague training and development on standards and procedures, providing support to achieve successful implementation. Successfully represent H&S, championing H&S matters on departmental working groups/committees. Investigating reported failures in the management system and employer's liability claims. Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the H&S management system, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and codes of practice. Produce clear and concise Management Information (MI) to enable the evaluation of the embedding of VM's Health and Safety Policy and health and safety performance. Successfully design, develop and deliver components of a wellbeing programme, taking the lead role in their effective implementation, ensuring deliverables are met. Manage occupational health and physiotherapy services, producing MI to show value add. Maintain knowledge base through ongoing Continuous Professional Development to maintain Chartered Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. What will it take? You'll have a relevant qualification - NEBOSH / IOSH certified Previous experience gained within a similar role Inspiring and engaging people management skills End to end Project planning and management experience Attention to detail so you can provide accurate and insightful reports Consultative stakeholder management A desire to always improve and develop our ways of working and thinking Is this you?
