Job Title: Factory Operative Salary: 24,000 Location: Peterborough Sector: Timber Frame Are you and experienced Production Operative with experience in a timber frame environment? Do you want to work for one of the largest timber frame companies in the UK? Working in the Production Factory using hand tools and automated robots to cut and assemble quality timber frame components. Helping to operate and maintain pneumatic and electrical plant equipment to prepare and assemble frames and joists. You will also be tasked with creating wall panels and fitting metal joist hangers, other components and assembling external and internal partitions and floor cassettes. The Store and Stock Controller will be a key member of the team responsible for: The factory material supplies, stock levels within technical boundaries. Ensure raw and packing stock is maintained within budgeted levels. Adhere to site stock management procedures and the accuracy of stock counting and system's accuracy. Key responsibilities: Supervise the work of all operatives either using items from stock, or picking orders from stocks, ensuring good stock rotation, booking out of stock products /items, recording booking out of stock products/items. Ensuring production stock is reconciled daily and any short life products are flagged immediately. Ensuring all raw and packaging materials are inputted into the system and progressed until delivery. Utilising the capacity of the stores efficiently. Monitoring stock levels and prevent "run outs". Reporting all stock values weekly.
