We are one of the largest chilled World Foods Meals supplier in the UK and are recognised in the industry as best in class for Category Development.Reporting into the Senior Category Manager, you will get an exciting breadth of category exposure, take ownership for a key retail partner account and have the main responsibility to ensure the internal category team excel brilliantly at the basics.We embrace flexible working, with the successful candidate being required to travel to sites in West London and customers in line with business needs.Joining us means working in a fast, agile and ambitious environment, with talented people who really care about what they do and how you do. Key Accountabilities Own the category agenda with 3 customers and work to strengthen our wiring and relationships. Drive tailored category development plans, identifying category opportunities and optimising growth for our brands and prioritised customers. Create and deliver insight led category customer strategies which address consumer needs, influence shopper behaviour & drive category growth. Drive needs centric conversations and action plans focused on solving category challenges and opening up opportunity spaces. Be a thought leader both internally and externally.Skills and Experience Preferably has a background in FMCG but not essential Experience within Category Management Experience in Own Label Food (preferable but not essential) Open minded as very broad range of roles & responsibilities Strives for customer intimacy Self aware with great people skills Proactive can do attitude, with the ability to manage various customer and internal stakeholders Ability to build strong and positive internal relationships Comfortable and able to manage a number of different spinning plates Comfortable and thrives working cross functionally to drive category growth agenda Adapts well to change especially when presented with new tasks Able to deliver insights to support category arguments drawing on different data sources Ability to disseminate and understand a wide range of information sources, and come up with actionable 'so what's'Why Join Pilgrim's Food Masters Our values are at the heart of our business and drive everything we do.
