They are currently looking to recruit SEN teaching assistants to start immediately, this will continue in November. They are looking for candidates who have experience working within SEN, specifically autism. This school caters for primary and secondary aged students with social and emotional communication needs, often on the Autistic Spectrum. The school is very well managed and is rated as "Outstanding" by Ofsted, but it does have its challenges due to the range of the needs of the students, including some challenging behaviour, making this a physically and mentally challenging role. The school is within walking distance of 2 London Overground Stations, a mainline train Station and is on numerous popular bus routes. You will be expected to work within a small class usually numbering between 4 to 5 students.
