The interdependence between human health and the preservation of the natural world has never been clearer. But we fail to value our natural capital, keeping us from grasping its true economic potential. And although there is a willingness to take part in the transition towards a green economy by investing directly in nature-based solutions, there is also a lack of available options that have a real impact while providing attractive investment returns. This is why at Bageera we are on a mission to change this, by democratising the access to natural capital investments so that investors of different sizes can invest and have real fractional ownership of value-creating assets that put nature at the core of their strategy, from reforestation projects in the Amazon, to sustainable agriculture initiatives in southern Europe. By creating the first integrated platform that (i) sources, (ii) splits into fractionalised digital securitiesand (iii) markets projects on our proprietary marketplace, we are on a mission to become the leading nature-focused investment platform for investors worldwide. Because at Bageera we believe that the transition towards a sustainable economy will only be materialised when we manage to channel private capital at scale towards the right initiatives. When we understand that nature is not just a resource to use, or a fragile ecology to protect. It's the world's most valuable industry and we want to ensure that everyone is able to invest in it. Luckily for us, we are not alone in this massive challenge! Our mission is backed by Flash Ventures , one of the strongest early-stage Venture Capital firm in Europe/Worldwide, and our ambition to grow together is stronger than ever. For further information on our technologies, networks and/or investors please feel free to ask us directly when we schedule an introductory call. About the role We are looking for a talented machine learning engineer to join the team and be part of the early journey of building a proprietary analysis tool based on predictive machine learning models that aim to identify attractive investment opportunities by valuing financial, environmental and social metrics. This is a broad role where you will play a key part in shaping the product, technology and roadmap together with the CEO, COO and Head of Engineering. Responsibilities Designing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models. Ensuring that algorithms generate accurate user recommendations Turning unstructured data into useful information by auto-tagging images and text-to-speech conversions. Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimising existing machine learning libraries and frameworks. Developing ML algorithms to analyse huge volumes of historical data to make predictions. Running tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting test results. Documenting machine learning processes. Skills / Experience You believe in Bageera's vision (and you're willing to prove it!). You have 2 - 4 years of experience as a machine learning engineer.
