We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer (levels Engineer, Senior to Principal)with expertise in Power Distribution, Power Systems design, and LV, MV and ELV systems to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a strong background in data centre projects design. This is a full-time hybrid role located in our London office (3 days working from our office, 2 days from home or 50% of the time in the office). Role responsibilities include: Lead and contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for data centre projects, including LV, MV, and ELV systems design, UPS, generator designs, lighting design, small power design, fire alarm design, and security systems design. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through all stages of the design process, from RIBA concept stage design to Stage 5 client monitoring role. Utilise technical expertise and software proficiency in Amtech, ETAP, EasyPower, AutoCAD, or Revit to produce accurate and innovative design solutions. Work independently and remotely, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Provide consultancy and site support as required, ensuring the successful implementation of electrical designs in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliverables. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; degree/diploma in Engineering or similar preferred. Extensive experience in data centre projects design, with a focus on MEP systems. Proficiency in RIBA concept stage design to 4c (or 4iii) and Stage 5 client monitoring role. Familiarity with software tools such as Amtech, ETAP, EasyPower, AutoCAD, or Revit. Previous consultancy/site experience in a similar role is highly desirable. Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines.
