Essential Requirements: * HW Design Lead * Experience of leading teams of Electrical/HW Engineers * Extensive experience of Electrical and HW Design and delivery for Industrial Control Systems * Extensive experience of supervising/liaising with Workshop for build of Control System Panels * Extensive knowledge of core supply chain partners' products - Panel HW, Electrical, Safety, PLC/HMI equipment * Experience with Nuclear (SL/EDF) Electrical / HW Design Standards * Proficient in AutoCAD etc. * Accredited/Familiar with 18th Edition Wiring Regs (BS7671) * Effective communicator * Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar * Be prepared to travel to/work at customer sites or offices * Ability to mentor and develop technicians and engineers * Able to develop technical solutions to meet project and customer expectations * Capable of working to tight deadlines and high standards of quality * Thorough understanding of, or working towards, BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Understanding of IEC BS EN (phone number removed), Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies * Able to work and contribute ideas within a multidisciplinary design team Desirable Requirements: * Have or be able to achieve security clearance to at least SC level, and possibly DV * HNC to BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) * Will hold or be working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineering status * Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English * Site experience (survey/install/setting to work) * A good working knowledge of related safety and environmental legislation, G5/4 Harmonic Standard Personal Qualities: * Conscientious and diligent worker * Ability to lead and work in a team * Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines * Able to build working relationships with clients * Flexible in their methods of working
