What you will be doing As a Psychosocial Practitioner, you will provide support to our staff and volunteers who deliver services across Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Midlands. You will provide psychosocial support in the form of reflective practice, clinical supervision groups and one to one individual support during site visits. You will support our UK Operations services and work closely with staff and volunteers within our Refugee and Restoring Family Links and Independent Living and Crisis Response teams. You will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and supporting the wellbeing needs of the workforce who, in turn support people in crisis. You will also deliver workshops and off-site support, whilst considering the preferences and requests of the local service's wishes and the learning of the wider Psychosocial and Mental Health Team. Travel will be required across the geographic areas covered by the role holder. This may include making overnight stays. This is a full-time, fixed term contract which could potentially be covered by two part-time employees. Service operational hours are 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday. If we appoint on a part-time basis, we would envisage the role holders working two or three full days per week. Role holders will require to be available to attend Psychosocial and Mental Health team meetings once per month. These meetings take place on a Thursday or Friday. The successful candidate(s) will initially work from home due to Covid-19 restrictions and will thereafter be based from one of our office locations in Northern Ireland, Scotland or the Midlands.
