Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer: Work with and alongside their friendly and supportive engineering team using your expert skills to design industrial, mobile and rugged computers. Reporting to the System Engineering Lead, you will also be responsible for having the technical helicopter view of the projects you work on. Supporting each of the engineering disciplines to ensure the final product fully meets the customers functional needs. You will have a real contribution in the design and development of products. Essential Capabilities for the Senior Systems Engineer: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles across the development life cycle. Ability to perform effective interface control management, both in terms of application and derivation. Able to analyse system requirements and determine the most appropriate solution supported by analysis, simulation and experience. Ability to collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software designers to ensure integrity of design application. Ability to prepare and review complete project documentation for conformity and quality. This role also allows hybrid working with three days on site and two from home.
