The focus for the next year is to build several microservices in Ruby or Python backed by AWS. There are plenty of opportunities to bring initiatives and follow best practices of building distributed systems. Playing an active role in delivering the roadmap for your squad as a key part of our Engineering team. Collaborating with other engineers, product managers and stakeholders as you work together to scope out what to build, and how. Owning iterative feature development from ideation through to production release and ongoing maintenance, working in whichever codebases you need to.
